A Cardinal bird. I happened to notice it today, deep inside the bamboo hedge. I didn't dare take away any leaves and the camera didn't focus where I wanted it to.
It is in a precarious spot, the neighbor's dog apparently noticed it too, it is just barely out of reach for him.
