Although it has been a chilly day there was almost the usual crowd at Beale Street tonight.
After I paid a "gift of love" as Mr Williams put it, he picked up his trumpet and gave a short performance. Click in the picture and he might play it again. Actually, most of these images are linked to a clip.
It was refreshing to see people of all ages out together tonight and nobody who had had too much to drink.
This artist had a small crowd around him, he seemed quite undisturbed by my using the flash to get a picture or two. And he was quite good, too.
