Allow me to introduce you to Ellen, my niece.
She would point her finger at me and say "I don't like you" with emphasis.
In order to break the ice, I had to shave off my full beard.
That convinced her that there was a reasonably normal uncle standing before her.
The beard is back and Ellen is a young lady by now. Still adorable, though.

It has been a beautiful day and I decided to drive down to the river with my camera. Mud Island is a good place to go, it's almost like a park along the riverside. I always watch the towboats with their barges with fascination. Controlling them must be like balancing a cane on your fingertip. And in addition they have the strong turbulent current to deal with and barges coming in the opposite direction.

My interest didn't pass unnoticed, someone with binoculars was checking out the camera man.
I followed the towboat until it passed the bridge to Arkansas, the big "M" bridge.
On my way home I noticed the car next to me, a perfectly preserved Hudson, I fail to figure out what year, but it should be contemporary with Dwight Eisenhower, I believe.

I tried to get one more by pointing my camera roughly at it after I passed it.
