I left early to pick my wife up from the mall tonight. I was planning to take a few pictures at night again.
I had only rigged up my tripod and taken this picture of a window in a chapel across he street from the mall, when a security guard showed up.
I suppose I should be grateful, that they are on their toes. But I felt sad, that I apparently was scary enough to be "inspected", just standing under a street light, taking pictures. Not like it used to be.

I found a link to this article on the SU page Recently Popular Websites today, Dec 19. It illustrates how widespread the fear of terrorism has become.

Read it, please

I dropped my wife off at the mall and was planning to drive to Summer Ave. and walk around a bit. But it is bitterly cold and windy. All I got was all these doves trying to warm up on top of the Baptist church.

Waiting for Christmas

I took the photo below roughly at the same time as the previous.
One day too late.
Yesterday that tree, belonging to my next door neighbor,
looked like it was on fire from vivid colors.
Still, I like what is left.

While I was waiting for my wife to finish her business at Fedex I grabbed the camera again. Some trees still have the bright fall colors.

Breaking News:
Fox News calls in Ann Coulter for a Fair and Balanced view on Hillary!

Rumors have it that Hillary has picked Ann for Vice President, but that is probably nonsense.

Sir Arthur C Clarke is 90 years old Dec 16.

He is perhaps the greatest Science Fiction writer ever.

December 11. Hot and humid in Memphis, ice storm in Oklahoma and Missouri.
The light doesn't fool you though, the sun is really low in the sky and casts these long shadows.
